INFORMATION OF THE WINERIES:
Fontanafredda
One of the most significant wine producers in Piemonte with almost eight million bottles produced per year, Fontanafredda is internationally known especially for their Barolo wines. In addition that the winery, which was established in 1858 by Italy’s first king Victor Emmanuel II, gathers grapes from their own vineyards, they gather them also from almost 400 contract grower’s plots from all the most significant areas in Piemonte.
Masi
Family Boscain bought this small winery in Veneto, Italy in the 1770s and during the years it has grown to be an international success by e.g. developing new wine producing techniques such as Appaxximento and Ripasso.
