Stefan Richter

Stefan Richter, the renowned Finnish-born chef, serves as the figurehead of Stefan’s Steakhouse restaurants. He is passionately devoted to food and high-quality ingredients. While residing in Los Angeles, he opened a few of his own restaurants but decided to return to Finland in 2010.

“While in America, I always proudly showcased my Finnish roots. One day, the former CEO of Restamax, Markku Virtanen, came to meet me and proposed a collaboration – we made the deal on the spot, and I returned to Finland. Now, I have come back to my roots in Suonenjoki, Savonia, where I draw inspiration from nature, forests, and self-sustaining cultivation. Finland is a magnificent, rich, and beautiful country,” Stefan proudly declares.
